Yes, you read that right!

Breaking Saint Jude
Title: Breaking Saint Jude
Author: Nikki Godwin
Date of Publication: January 14, 2015
Genre: contemporary LGBT YA romance
When sixteen-year-old Jude Calvert sets out to steal stained glass from a broken cathedral window, he finds more than shards of red. He finds Max Rangel - his eye candy from his new LGBT support group - hauling a giraffe carcass across an abandoned part of town with a pack of guys. And he still accepts Max's dinner invite a few days later.
Still, animal lover Jude can't get the giraffe out of his mind. It doesn't take long for him to confront Max, who gives him partial answers and introduces him to a secret brotherhood of not-so-typical game hunters. Unable to tell his mom (the savior of black cats everywhere) or his dad (the zoo's head veterinarian) and unwilling to go back to his overbearing therapist, Jude quickly finds himself sucked into the underground world of taxidermy, theft, and drug deals.
At first, he's willing to do anything for the brotherhood just because he's so thankful to belong to someone again after serious drama with his ex-clique and ex-boyfriend. But when his underground life collides with his life above, he realizes he may have bitten off more than even the biggest animal can chew.

Events (life):
This week, something we all had in common was that we all got sick. All of us got cough and colds and Audrey actually had a fever. What a great way to start the year! After around 2 days the fever broke but we still (mostly Audrey) had coughs and colds. She's just a sickly person. Anyway, after a whole lot of lying around, Wednesday came around, officially marking the resumption of classes. Yay. Not. Kimi started her Harry Potter class where Harry Potter books are actually required reading for school. Not a bad thing, really. Meanwhile, Audrey's required reading is Tall Story by Candy Gourlay. She has not read a single page. We plan to try to relax again this weekend, and hopefully next week won't be stressful.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work?

The goal is to increase blog followers and make friends. First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you! What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed. All features are chosen randomly to be the feature. They are not chosen by content or name.
This weeks Question:
Do you have any fun collections (other than books)?
There might be a couple of minor collections here and there, but we don't actually have collections that would qualify for this question. It's hard for us to collect since we easily lose things. The only valid things we collect are BOOKS, cause we are such book hoarders.
