GCQ Travels: South Korea

So there's a reason why we weren't able to blog last week... We went to Korea!!! 

We arrived there on April 1st at around 8 pm and went back home on April 5th although when we arrived back at the Philippines, it was already April 6th. We'll be sharing to you our experiences, but we'll be skipping day 1 as nothing much happened. We hope you enjoy!

Day 2:

Places We Went to:

Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Folk Museum


Petite France


Nami Island


Food We Ate:

Lunch: Bulgogi (Beef)

Dinner: Dakgalbi (Chicken BBQ)

Snack: Ice Cream at Petite France


Other Stuff:

We found this little book cafe while exploring Nami Island and decided to take a short look inside. It was an adorable, quaint little shop where you could sit down and take refuge from the cold weather, drinking coffee and reading a book.





Day 3:

Places We Went to:

Mt. Seorak National Park

Lunch: Grilled Fish

Dinner: Ginseng Chicken Soup

Day 4:

Places We Went to:

Everland Theme Park


The place was full of gorgeous flowers for their Tulip Festival.

Lunch: Samgypsal (Pork Belly)

Dinner: Meal inside Everland

Day 5:

Places We Went to:

Sanmeoru Winery and Jam-Making


Cherry Blossom Street

Cherry blossoms are just beginning to bloom.

Food We Ate:

Lunch: Under the Sea Buffet (Seafood Buffet)

After all this we went to Incheon International Airport and got on a flight back to the Philippines. The flight was around 9 pm so we arrived the next day past 1 am. We were exhausted, but it was worth it. Korea is an amazing place.
