Interviewing Chiara Garcia: Week 10

25
Hi guys! I know this is super delayed, so I'm really sorry. Again, we were all very busy. But, why don't we just meet this week's featured blogger! This is also the 10th and last blogger who we interviewed. Hope you enjoy her answers and get to know her!

1. Share your favorite joke or chat-up line.

I'm really bad with jokes, quite honestly! And when I do try to share some, it'll be a miracle if it actually sounds funny haha!

2. Most embarrassing moment?

I have poor memory, and I don't really hold on to bad memories too much, so I really don't remember. But once in a while I do trip and fall and get my undies flashed in front of a couple people. I'm pretty clumsy.

3. Zodiac sign?

I'm a virgo!

4. Most daring thing you've ever done?

Dropping out of college, definitely.

5. If you were about to be dropped in a pit of lava, what would you
choose as your last words?

Nothing too fancy. Maybe I'll just go, 'Goodbye beautiful world!'

6. Who is your favorite cartoon character?

Phineas and Ferb forever!

7. When you were a kid, what was the thing that was understood by
everyone but misinterpreted by you? (Example: ______ used to wonder
why people said that there was 0% interest. She means why would anyone
buy it if it wasn't even the slightest bit interesting?)

I have really poor memory as I've mentioned above so I don't remember any, sadly.

8. Who is your favorite blogger?

Is it weird to say I have none? I'm barely updated with music, movies or anything else really so it'll be almost impossible for me to keep up with blogs all the more!

9. Future plans?

To travel the world and document as much beauty as I can.

10. Animal that you would own as a pet? (Birds, cats, dogs, fishes,
bunnies, and guinea pigs not allowed)

A tiger! It's always been my dream.

11. Do you believe ants are nutritious?

Nope, but I do think they're cute. And annoying all at the same time haha!

12. Star Wars or Star Trek?

Star Wars.

13. Favorite superhero?

My dad, always.

14. Favorite super villain?

How can anyone even have a favorite villain? (I'm just saying this because nothing's popping out of my mind!)

15. Name one thing you love about yourself?

That I love life. I think that makes everything so much easier for me.

16. TBH...

I feel really unhealthy nowadays just endlessly eating and snacking away 24/7.

17. What is your favorite shirt/dress/pants/jacket/hoodie/any piece of
clothing? Attach a picture.

I don't have a photo, but I love this romper that I got on sale from Target in Aussie. So comfortable and equally pretty!

18. Word that best describes you?

Passionate, for now, and I hope forever.

19. Favorite app?

I love VSCOcam!

20. What food do you crave right now? Attach a picture.

The one and only!

21. What's the thing you can't live without?

My journal.

22. What's your happy place?

It's always just a battle between the comforts of my room or the adventures I enjoy from the great unknown.

23. You just murdered someone. How would you dispose of their body?
(Examples: throw it in the ocean, bury it, dissolve it Breaking Bad
style) We're just curious, promise. :)

This is a little bit freaky, but I think I'd go for the throwing them into the ocean. Easy, instant solution!

24. Attach a selfie!

This is the closest I can get to a selfie right now. A photo from a few weeks ago in New Zealand.

Interviewing Fathomless Reveries: Week 9

Week 9 and going strong. Lol. Meet Pauline Ang, another fab book blogger for you guys! Sorry for the delay, been really caught up with school. You know the drill, enjoy!

1. Share your favorite joke or chat-up line.

Uh. Nothing, really. I can’t think of any right now. HAHA.

2. Most embarrassing moment?

Oh! During my elementary days, the washroom of both boys and girls were totally the same. Well, except for the urinals. And they were alternating floors. So, like second floor is girls, then third floor is boys, then so on. There was this one time that I really, really, really wanted to pee already. I thought I was already on fourth floor so I went in to pee. When I came out, there was a guy near the sink. Then I was looking weirdly at him (I thought that he was in the girls’ washroom without noticing it,) and he was also looking weirdly at me. Then I saw the urinals at the side. Then I was like, OHMYGAWD. ASDNAKJSNDK. Apparently, I was the one in the wrong washroom. Oops. =))

3. Zodiac sign?

Virgo ;)

4. Most daring thing you've ever done?

Most daring thing? Probably the time when my family and I went to Disneyland, and then there were lots of roller coasters and the elevator ride (I think it was called Tower of Terror.) I rode them all even though it was my first time to go to an amusement park. Weehee. Yep, my life experiences are quite shallow. HAHA.

5. If you were about to be dropped in a pit of lava, what would youchoose as your last words?

I don’t know. It’d probably be a spur of the moment thing for me. =))

6. Who is your favorite cartoon character?

Is anime considered cartoon? If yes, it’s Asuna from Sword Art Online. Otherwise, HAHAHA. I don’t watch TV ever since I was a kid. My whole life revolved around online games and books.

7. When you were a kid, what was the thing that was understood by everyone but misinterpreted by you? (Example: ______ used to wonder why people said that there was 0% interest. She means why would anyone buy it if it wasn't even the slightest bit interesting?)

…I don’t remember having an experience like this. =))

8. Who is your favorite blogger?

I don’t have a favorite blogger, but there are bloggers that I admire. :D

9. Future plans?

I’m so fickle-minded that I can’t see what I want to do in the future because they keep on changing. But, I’d really want to be able to put up a portfolio of something, even if that’s ambitious for me (‘coz I suck.)

10. Animal that you would own as a pet? (Birds, cats, dogs, fishes, bunnies, and guinea pigs not allowed)

Omg. I don’t know. I don’t like pets. But I love pandas and polar bears. They’re fluffy and cute. Teehee.

11. Do you believe ants are nutritious?

Nuh uh. I’m scared of ants, and I hate them. :< But my mom told me before they were rich in protein. HAHA. Idk if that’s true or not. She knew someone who ate a bowl of something with ants in it. *Blech*

12. Star Wars or Star Trek?

I haven’t watched Star Wars yet. (Yes, I suck.) Or maybe I did, but I have no recollection of it. So, I guess I’ll go with Star Trek. Live long and prosper! :))

13. Favorite superhero?

I do watch them, but I don’t really have a favorite. If ever, may I go with Spiderman because of Andrew Garfield? HAHA.

14. Favorite super villain?

Same goes here. Don’t have a favorite either.

15. Name one thing you love about yourself?

I love that I’m able to type fast, compared to others. Some of my friends are always like, how can you talk to a lot of people (5+) at the same time in Facebook. I really don’t know, okay?! =))

16. TBH...

I have a lot of things I want to do and want to have, but once I get to it, I get tired of it easily. It totally sucks. Right now, there are a lot of unfinished stuff scattered all over my room. :<

17. What is your favorite shirt/dress/pants/jacket/hoodie/any piece of clothing? Attach a picture.

Weehee. I just love these shirts because they’re so cute! Plus, I love the color <3

18. Word that best describes you?

Scatterbrained. I think. HAHA. My friends here in the Philippines always call me “sabog.”

19. Favorite app?

Facebook Messenger or Twitter. =)) It keeps me on the go with the people I need to talk with. My gadgets don’t have games because I get tired of them easily. Well, except for Clash of Clans. =))

20. What food do you crave right now? Attach a picture.

Ramen! <3

21. What's the thing you can't live without?

Internet. I go crazy if I go consecutive days without the Internet, unless if I’m really busy that I can’t afford to go online, which is very rare. =))

22. What's your happy place?

My table. :D I do all things on my table, like reading, computer, blablabla. In short, I’m stuck to it all day. HAHA.

23. You just murdered someone. How would you dispose of their body? (Examples: throw it in the ocean, bury it, dissolve it Breaking Bad style) We're just curious, promise. :)

For real? Uh. I’m not creative. I might just go with burying it. =))

24. Attach a selfie!

Sorry, haggard face! HAHAHA.

Interviewing Alexa Santiago: Week 7

Before anything else, we're really really sorry for not posting anything new. As you may or may not know, we've been busy with school and other activities. Have you ever felt so drained that you would just want to lie down, sleep and eat? Since June started our weekdays and even weekends have been so hectic. There are times when I even forget to email the next featured blogger, and I'd just remember on the exact day when the post should be up. We know we're not putting too much effort on our blog anymore, but as long as we have more freetime, blogging will be our priority.

We're really sorryyyy, but we hope you enjoy this week's featured blogger! Meet Alexa Santiago, a pretty cool book blogger! :)
1. Share your favorite joke or chat-up line.

Are you hurt? Because you fell a long way from Heaven to be here on Earth.
(And I have actually said that out loud to someone on a dare. LOL.)

2. Most embarrassing moment?

When have I not had an embarrassing moment? I'm very clumsy and awkward, so I have a tendency to trip over my own feet. The most recent incident involved me tripping up a curb while I was walking in New York. In flats. During the day. Perfectly sober.

3. Zodiac sign?

I'm a Leo. While I've always embraced the symbolism of a lion, I never realized how courageous and outspoken I could be. Well, at least until I got to New York, where I finally started embracing my talkative side!

4. Most daring thing you've ever done?

Oh wow. Hmm. I think the most daring thing I've ever done is move to an entirely new country! Well, sort of new. I was born in the US, but moved back to the Philippines when I was about 8, and stayed there for about 19 years. It honestly never crossed my mind to move to New York, let alone the US. But I did it back in 2010 - and I'm a much better person for it. It's been quite the adventure, and I'm looking forward to a couple more years before I settle down somewhere less urban and more suburban.

5. If you were about to be dropped in a pit of lava, what would you
choose as your last words?
Bon voyage, I love you all!

6. Who is your favorite cartoon character?

I've always had a huge soft spot for Mickey Mouse. Just seeing him or his shape anywhere genuinely gets me excited as I've always been a Disney girl, ever since I was young! I love the classic Mickey shape.

7. When you were a kid, what was the thing that was understood by
everyone but misinterpreted by you? (Example: ______ used to wonder
why people said that there was 0% interest. She means why would anyone
buy it if it wasn't even the slightest bit interesting?)

Okay, this one is a little silly, but whenever adults would say someone was "hot" when I was younger, I always got confused because I expected them to be on fire or something.

8. Who is your favorite blogger?

I really don't play favorites when it comes to my blogger friends! I love everyone's blogs for a different reason, and I just love having so many people to bounce opinions off of and learn from. I do have a few blogger friends who I'm really close to, but I genuinely enjoy spending time chatting with many bloggers.

9. Future plans?

I would like to settle down with my husband in a house of our own, one that has an attic, a porch, a library, a large kitchen, a big backyard and a treehouse. I intend to pen a couple of novels, have 4 or 5 kids if I can manage it and to travel around the world to see as much of it as possible.

10. Animal that you would own as a pet? (Birds, cats, dogs, fishes,
bunnies, and guinea pigs not allowed)

Oh, this is actually very easy for me - I'd love to own a white tiger. I've been fascinated by tigers ever since I was a little girl, because they're powerful and beautiful to look at. I literally spent 15 minutes just watching them in the Singapore Zoo when I visited last year!

11. Do you believe ants are nutritious?
I've never thought about this before, but I suppose so. It'd take a lot of them to make a decent-sized snack though.

12. Star Wars or Star Trek?

While I don't actively watch either, I have seen more Star Wars than Star Trek. Plus, I also have a bit of sentimentality for the fact that my dad and I used to go and watch the Star Wars films together.

13. Favorite superhero?

This is such a difficult question! I do like a lot of superheroes, particularly the ones from Marvel. I'd have to say that my favorite rotates change every so often. Currently, I'm in a phase where I really like Thor. I love the mythology behind his story!

14. Favorite super villain?

Okay, this is even harder than the previous question! If we're talking comics, I'd have to say Joker from Batman, but in the way that Heath Ledger played him. If we're just talking villains in general, I'd say Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty because she freaks me out and she's pretty badass.

15. Name one thing you love about yourself?

I love the fact that I'm overall a very positive person! I'm the eternal optimist in my family, and among my friends too. I'm that persistently blinding ray of sunshine amid lots of gray clouds, and I like that.

16. TBH...

I would love to have skipped a few of the bumps along the way in my life so far, but I realize that might change who I am now. So it's sometimes sad to think about the things I regret, but I just remind myself it's helped me become the person I am now.

17. What is your favorite shirt/dress/pants/jacket/hoodie/any piece of
clothing? Attach a picture.

Oh, this is VERY easy. I actually have an entire outfit that I really like, and I've worn it nearly every year since I got here in 2010. It's this bright yellow and pink dress that my mom got me from Bangkok, paired with my favorite brown cowboy boots.

18. Word that best describes you?

Optimist. Because I always find the silver lining in the clouds, see the glass half full instead of half empty and try to stay encouraging and happy with others.

19. Favorite app?

I'm very attached to the Twitter app. I just like being able to keep in touch with everyone I'm friends with via my phone. But if we're thinking about non-social media apps, I'm most attached to the Spotify app, because I love music.

20. What food do you crave right now? Attach a picture.

Oh gosh, this is an easy one. I'm craving the kind of chicken inasal that you can only get in Bacolod. It's one of my favorite dishes ever, and though there are attempts to replicate it here, nothing's quite the same.

21. What's the thing you can't live without?

Hate to be all philosophical for this one, but love. I don't think I can live without love.

22. What's your happy place?

I'm usually at my happiest when I'm surrounded by people I love. It doesn't really matter where we are, or what we're doing; all that matters is the company.

23. You just murdered someone. How would you dispose of their body?
(Examples: throw it in the ocean, bury it, dissolve it Breaking Bad
style) We're just curious, promise. :)

I'd probably burn the body, to leave as little evidence as possible.

24. Attach a selfie!

Here's a fairly recent one, which I also shared on Instagram! I'm just really in love with these heart-shaped sunglasses.

25. Links on where to find you?

Interviewing Deadly Darlings: Week 5

Week five's featured blogger is Aimee a.k.a Deadly Darlings! You know the drill, we interview different bloggers and we feature them in our blog every week.

Get to know Aimee, an awesome book blogger who's almost just the same age with me. Hahaha.
1. Share you favorite joke or chat-up line. "When I see lovers' names carved in a tree, I don't think its cute. I just think it's crazy how many people bring knives on a date."

2. Most embarrassing moment? LOL. There are so many. Well, something book related... When I attended the Mafi/Riggs/Rossi signing, I carried 7 books on stage and dropped them! It was embarrassing since there were hundreds of people watching the signing.

3. Zodiac sign? Leo. :)

4. Most daring thing you've ever done? Tricked and messed with my teachers even if it wasn't April 1st, lol.

5. If you were about to be dropped in a pit of lava, what would you choose as your last words? I would bring my phone out, look for wi-fi and tweet something like "#dying #literally."

6. Who is your favorite cartoon character? Winnie the Pooh!

7. When you were a kid, what was the thing that was understood by everyone but misinterpreted by you? Why women have periods. Basically I thought my mom was dying when I saw a patch of blood on her shorts.

8. Who is your favorite blogger? Tough question. I don't have a favorite, since all bloggers have different styles, personalities and topics. It all depends, really.

9. Future plans? Get a job. Get rich. Buy all the books.

10. Animal that you would own as a pet? All the pets we've ever had always end up dead. (We've had 2 frogs, 1 hamster and a lot of fish.)

11. Do you believe ants are nutritious? Um, well. No?

12. Star Wars or Star Trek? I've never watched either, but I like Yoda and Darth Vader, so Star Wars, I guess.

13. Favorite superhero? Iron Man. Tony Stark has sass.

14. Favorite super villain? Poison Ivy or the Joker.

15. Name one thing you love about yourself? If we're being honest, my voice is one of the only things I love about myself. I love public speaking and the likes, so my voice is definitely something I love.

16. TBH... I like marshmallows. So if you see me, feed me.

17. What is you favorite shirt/dress/pants/jacket/hoodie/any piece of clothing? Although I've never worn one, I love this:

18. Word that best describes you? Bipolar.

19. Favorite app? Depends on the phone, haha! Maybe Twitter.

20. What food do you crave right now?

21. What's the thing you can't live without? Oxygen.

22. What's your happy place? Anywhere that isn't over 20 degrees Celsius. Or anywhere with air conditioning.

23. You just murdered someone. How would you dispose of their body? I'd hide it under someone's car.

24. Attach a selfie!

Follow follow and follow! Hope you enjoyed this week's featured blogger and stay tuned next week!!!

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there! <3

Interviewing Divergent Gryffindor: Week 1

25
We recently asked a couple of bloggers to answer a few interview questions. Every week, we will be posting the response of various bloggers, and by various we mean book/fashion/food/beauty bloggers. We really had fun doing this and we were able to talk to some bloggers, and became blogger friends too. This week's featured blogger is known as Divergent Gryffindor! Get to know more about her by reading her answers with our questions. We really enjoyed reading her answers, and we hope you do too! :)

1. Share your favorite joke or chat-up line.
I can't remember anything funny right now! I'm a pretty boring person, sorry.

2. Most embarrassing moment?
I can't think of the most embarrassing moment, but here's a book-related thing. I was waiting while Melissa de la Cruz was signing my copy of Blue Bloods, when she asked me if I have read the book yet. I was on an internal battle because I didn't want to admit that I haven't read any of her books yet, but what if she asks me about it? So then I decided to tell the truth. I asked her to sign my friend's book too, and she asked me if I knew who their favorite characters were, and I just shook my head no! I actually didn't know any of the characters! I just brought Blue Bloods because I didn't want to miss the opporunity, and also, because there were two other authors in the event. I was so embarrassed, I wish I read the first book before meeting her!

3. Zodiac sign?

Saguittarius. :)

4. Most daring thing you've ever done?
Zip-lining! Yeah, it's lame, I know. I'm a pretty boring person. :P

5. If you were about to be dropped in a pit of lava, what would you
choose as your last words?
I can't think of anything now.

6. Who is your favorite cartoon character?

My favorite cartoon is Phineas from Phineas and Ferb! Even at 17, I still watch that cartoon. HAHA!

7. When you were a kid, what was the thing that was understood by
everyone but misinterpreted by you? (Example: ______ used to wonder
why people said that there was 0% interest. She means why would anyone
buy it if it wasn't even the slightest bit interesting?)

I can't remember anything like that! :O

8. Who is your favorite blogger?
I don't really have a favorite blogger, but I have bloggers I look up to.

9. Future plans?
Save the world! Just kidding! It's actually always been a dream of mine to help an orphanage. I don't know why, I just thought of it back when I was still a kid! :)

10. Animal that you would own as a pet? (Birds, cats, dogs, fishes,
bunnies, and guinea pigs not allowed)
Dolphins! Aren't they just cute?

11. Do you believe ants are nutritious?
Uh, no. I'm scared of ants, actually, when there are a lot of them at once. *shivers*

12. Star Wars or Star Trek?
None? I know, I know. How lame am I, right?

13. Favorite superhero?
I don't like super heroes. I don't watch them. I have no childhood, I know! T.T I even fell asleep while watching Avengers. (Don't kill me, please!)

14. Favorite super villain?
Same answer as above.

15. Name one thing you love about yourself?
I love that I love reading! Teehee. :3

16. TBH…
I don't know why I'm still blogging. It's not that I don't love it, because I really do. It's just that I tend to get tired and quit things easily, but it's different with blogging.

17. What is your favorite shirt/dress/pants/jacket/hoodie/any piece of
clothing? Attach a picture.

I love the shirt because I love nautical stuff, and I love the shoes because it goes with anything! :D
(Same pic as my 'selfie')

18. Word that best describes you?
CRAZY.

19. Favorite app?
Kindle, no question! :D I get easily bored with games, that's why the answer would change everytime, so I chose a non-gaming app.

20. What food do you crave right now? Attach a picture

 I LOVE FOOD!! <3

21. What's the thing you can't live without?

Internet. I can't imagine a world without internet, even though we didn't have internet back when I was younger. But now that I've gotten used to it, I can't live without it. Besides, how would I be able to blog without the internet?

22. What's your happy place?

My quiet room, where I can be alone to read or catch up on TV series. :D

23. You just murdered someone. How would you dispose of their body?
(Examples: throw it in the ocean, bury it, dissolve it Breaking Bad
style) We're just curious, promise. :)

I'll throw the body into the ocean, so it can't be found. Also, because I'm not that original. Hart, hart. :))

24. Attach a selfie!

I know it's not exactly a 'selfie'. But hey, at least I'm alone in the picture! Sorry, I only have few pictures alone wherein I look like a normal human being. HAHA! :))
