Random Saturdays: Kimi's Best Book Boyfriends

This Saturday I am going to talk about my favorite book boyfriends in YA! :) I don't normally talk about this subject because I'm not really the kind who reads for the guys in the books - they're just usually a plus point! But for this Saturday, I'll be enumerating the guys who make YA a lot better.

Etienne (Anna and the French Kiss)
Swoon! I've always loved French boys and Etienne is my absolute favorite because of his charm.

Ben (Aspen)
This guy is popular hot and everyone loves him. But he is just a natural good guy; he's the kind of guy who's gonna lie down with you on the street, and I love him because of that.

Levi (Fangirl)
A guy who's willing to listen to you read your fanfiction? Hello? What more could I ask for?

Ron (Harry Potter series)
Weasley is our king, alright! I've always admired Ron for being loyal, brave, outspoken, funny, brilliant and just being a good person!

Peeta (The Hunger Games trilogy)
I just can't get enough of this guy. He's gentle, kind and beautiful. He has one of the biggest hearts and his views in life are just admirable. He always stands up for what is right and he will never leave you.

Sam Henry (Catching Jordan)
Oh, Sam Henry. A good best friend but an even better boyfriend. He doesn't look down on women and you can just be yourself around him.

Who are your favorite book boyfriends? Tell us below! :)

Random Saturdays: People I Want To Be

Get to know the Geeky Chiquitas every Saturday through Random Saturdays! This week's topic is who we want to be for a day. If you wanna know who we want to be for a day, then continue reading!

Audrey

If I were to be someone else for a day, I would be Audrey Hepburn. Why? Well, first, I wouldn't have to get all confused about my name like if someone was gonna call me Audrey, I'd respond cos I'm Audrey even though I'm not that Audrey. Second, she's like really pretty and everything. I also feel like she's super awesome though I can't be sure because, well, she's dead. I don't wanna be dead though or old for that matter so I'll want to be her when she was young (does this make me a bad person?) Also, people still remember her until now and it would fell really great to still be known by people until now. So, I chose Audrey Hepburn. Yeah.

"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!"

"You can tell more about a person by what he says about others than you can by what others say about him."Beryl

Honestly, I can't think of anyone who I want to be for a day. I'm pretty happy with myself (haha), but  I think the closest would be Ariana Grande. I have been a fan of Ariana for years now and I still love her. I love all of her songs, the way she performs, her fashion sense and everything else. I may want to experience being her for a day. I want to know how it feels like being your role model. I mean who doesn't right? Kimi
If I could switch places with anyone, my top of the head answer would be Harry Styles. Before anything, let me just say that I like One Direction and all they're okay but I am NOT a Directioner. However, Harry was the first person who came to mind when I thought of who I wanted to switch lives with. I have a couple of reasons why: 1. It'd be interesting to be a boy for a day. 2. I want to be good in music and shiz at least for just one day. 3. Harry has te greatest hair ever and I'd kill to have awesome hair even just for that day.
If you were given a chance to switch places with anyone for a day, who would it be? Leave a comment!

Random Saturdays: Things We Hate

We decided that every Saturday, we will be sharing personal stuff about the ladies behind Geeky Chiquitas! :) For our second post, we decided to tell you guys about the things that we hate. It could be something that a person does, it could be a sound, a feeling, a smell, a word, and basically anything else. Enjoy!

1. I hate the sound of nails scratching cloth. Like when someone scratches a pillowcase or bedsheet and I'm close enough to hear the sound. I really hate that.

2. I hate mashed potatoes. I don't know why. Maybe  it's the texture or something I really don't know.

3. I hate it when people touch my hair. I feel like my hair's just gonna fall off or something so I get really mad when people touch my hair. I can't stand it.

1. I hate the sound when a spoon or a fork scratches a plate. The accidental thing someone does when they're trying to separate their food and make it smaller then suddenly the fork or spoon slides across the plate. That sound. I hate that. Just no.

2. I hate ketchup and oranges which you probably already know with the number of times that I've said but I just had to say it again.

3. I hate it when people borrow my stuff without asking, especially if I haven't even used it before that person. I seriously super hate that and it leaves me in a bad mood for the rest of the day.

1. I hate it when people walk out of a room, but forget to close the door. How hard is it to close the door when you go out?

2. I hate it worms. Once, it fell on my camera and I screamed so hard I almost cried. I especially hate it when the worm has hair. Eek, it's giving me the shivers.

3. I hate it when plans get cancelled. It just sucks so bad when I look forward so much to something, and it ends up getting cancelled.

What do you hate? Leave a comment!

Random Saturdays: GCQ Facts

20
Hey guys! It's been quite some time since we've posted something that isn't about books. This is why we decided that every Saturday, we will be sharing personal stuff about the ladies behind Geeky Chiquitas! :) For this first post, we will share to you 20 random facts about us. It could also be just about one of us, two of us or for all of us. Enjoy!

Numbers 1-5 will be about Beryl, 6-10 about Audrey, 11-15 about Kimi and 16-20 about all of us.

1. I HATED reading books when I was younger. Yes, I really did and now I'm book blogging! Just as they say "Expect the unexpected".

2. I heart fresh orange juice! I could go swimming in it. Ha ha kidding!

3. I can't wink properly. I've tried this many times, but usually people just start laughing. I think I look like I'm having a seizure.

4.  I always screenshot different clothes, shoes, bags, and other "girly" stuff that I want online, then I just keep it there. I normally don't buy them.

5. I feel queasy when I see blood. I think that's obviously the reason why I can never be a doctor.
