WRAP UP
We had such a blast with the #Loveathon (it's our first time!) and would definitely join again next year! It was a bit hard to post everything on time, especially because of the time difference, but we're happy to have been able to participate anyway! Our favorite challenges would have to be: the mad libs, the letter to yourself, and the hobby mash-up. It was so much fun doing all the challenges, and honestly we just did them for fun, not to win anything. We're so happy we were able to join, even if we signed up at the last minute, and we hope to get to know even more of you even if Love-A-Thon is over. Book bloggers are the best, and we love you all! :)

Book Blogger Love-a-Thon // Mini Challenge #5: Letter to Yourself

In this post, we decided to make a letter to our future selves. We thought that this would become motivation for us to do better in the future. We will set goals for our future selves. We will also give our future selves encouragement in case they feel like giving up. This is one of the mini challenges that we were looking forward to. We are very excited to do this challenge and we hope that it will be a success.

Dear Geeky Chiquitas of the Future:

We love you. You guys are amazing in every single way. We want to be you in the future. We command you to be successful and better than us. You guys have to be better than we are now. Don't ever give up and if you even think about giving up, you have to remember the day when you wrote this letter and vowed to be somebody. You should remember that you had so much hope before, you haven't lost that hope. You've just misplaced it. If you are better than we are now by the time you read this letter, remember the person you were when you wrote this letter. Don't become too prideful. Remember where you started and never lose sight of who you are.

Love,
The Geeky Chiquitas of the Past (for you, present for us)

Book Blogger Love-a-Thon // Mini Challenge #3: Mad Libs

For our third mini challenge, here is a mad lib! We really had fun doing this, and we were laughing the whole time.

One day, I was eating with Sam Henry. Out of the blue, a sloth came out of nowhere! It was slow, green and huge. At first, we were afraid, we were petrified but we survived. We hopped on a hovercraft to make our getaway.

As we escaped, we turned up the radio because Timber by Ke$ha came on and made me fall. Everything was extremely smooth sailing until a frog appeared in the middle of the road. We swerved to avoid it, but while Sam Henry stayed on the hovercraft, I got thrown unto my side in the woods.

I couldn't get up, and felt drunk as I lay there staring up at the trees. What was I going to do? I heard a quack among the leaves and felt terrified. Surely, this was going to be my end. As my eyes fluttered shut, the last thing I saw was a head of brown hair and blue eyes.

When I woke up again, I was on a refrigerator. My body hurt a whole lot less and I could sit up. There was a meerkat and orangutan in the room, along with pizza and beer. The door suddenly opened to reveal Augustus Waters, a concerned look on his face. I blushed and averted my gaze, but he danced and said, "Don't be shy. It's okay."

He came over to sit by me, and we started talking after I told him my name. We chatted about eating, sleeping and blogging and realized we had a ton in common! I thought he was crazy and couldn't help feeling a little swoony.

Just as he reached out for my hand, the door crashed open and in came Peeta Mellark. "Don't let him charm you away, my love!" He yelled, running at Augustus. They each had spoons and spatulas in their hands and began to fight. "Stop!", I yelled, feeling so bored. They didn't listen to me. Before I could intervene, Augustus fell to the floor and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

"What was that?" I asked, staring at the empty space. Peeta dropped his weapons, and came over to me. "Magic, but you are safe now, butter." He hugged me close, and I suddenly knew that this was the real deal and not just a dream.

Just as Want U Back by Cher Lloyd started playing in my head, I woke up. I cursed my awesome luck. Why had it only been just a dream?

Book Blogger Love-a-Thon // Mini Challenge #2: Book Valentines

In this challenge, we are going to make a love letter to our book boyfriend. We don't think that words are enough to describe the most perfect guy in the world (even though he's a fictional character). Like we've said before, we're a bit late into this Loveathon thing and had some problems with the Internet, so we're posting this late (and we don't care if the link up is closed because this mini challenge is just so fun and awesome!:) )

Dear The Boy With the Bread,

You are all our (Kimi Beryl and Audrey) book boyfriend. We've argued about who gets to have you the whole day, and we've decided to just share because sharing is caring, right?

You are our book boyfriend. Wanna know why?

Because Peeta Mellark, you are a wonderful wonderful human being, and we thank you for existing. (Actually we thank Suzanne Collins for creating you) We swooned every time you showed how much you love Katniss (and also cried silently in jealousy). We cried when the capitol did the thing (which we do not want to remember) to you in Mockingjay. We stayed strong with you when you were trying to make sense of what was real or not.

You taught us that men can be gentle and loving and kind. You showed us the beauty of life, in your words and actions. But more importantly, you gave us hope - hope that life can become better despite all the terrible things in the world. We adore you so much that we can't think of The Hunger Games without you there. Too bad you're already taken. *sobs*

Even though we seem like creepy stalkers to you, you should remember that stalkers care. They care about everything you do. Remember, we will be here, waiting. With a cake. That we have baked. FOR YOU.

We love you, real or not real?

Real.

P.S. Team Peeta forever!

Love,
Kimi, Beryl and Auds
